Fantasia 2000 Fantasia 2000 As I was looking through the list of movies, Fantasia caught my eye. I remember watching the movie Fantasia as a small child. I can still recall some parts of the movie. My favorite was the piece on Mickey Mouse and the Unicorns. I think it is very amazing how animation and music can fit together. During the whole movie dialect is only expressed between intervals of every piece. Emotions and expressions are expressed through the life of music. You do not need words to enjoy a Disney classic. It can be understood through a real orchestra. Many symphony’s participated in the movie Fantasia, for example the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The first piece introduced was a theme about a family of whales. I enjoyed this very much. It is about a family of whales that can swim through the ocean and the sky. They can go below and beyond. But this happiness is suddenly disrupted when the baby whale gets lost in a cave under the sea. The family of whales is very upset about this sudden misfortune.
