Media And Family Family Image Media Project 1. My Wife and Kids is a half hour comedy that comes on ABC Wednesday at 7pm. This is a television show that is made up of all African American cast. The show main characters are a mother who is a housewife, a father who owns his own trucking company, and three kids. The show is one of few African American shows on a major network and it shows positive aspects of African Americans life. You have a hard working father and a mother that stays home and take care of the house and the children. Their kids go through the same problems that real teen-agers go through. Their family has problems but they always seem to sit down and talk through their problems. My wife and kids is a show where the children live with both their mother and father. This show provides a look into a typical family life you have your good days and you have some bad days but the parents are always there for their children. I think this show has a well-balanced dose of reality on television. 2.
