Cunningham. The star of the movie is Gary Cooper. The music and theme song of the movie was written by Dimitri Tiomkin, and lyrics by Ned Washington. The theme was sung by Tex Ritter. The movie was directed by Fred Zinnemann. This was an exciting movie considering it was a fifties black and white film. The whole movie was about the loyalty of a town marshal and the betrayal of the town. Gary Cooper who played Will Kane as the star of the movie is the marshal of a small western town. Kane put a man away to prison named Frank Miller. At the begging of the movie Millers posse rides through town as the towns people watch in shock. On this day Kane is retiring and also is getting married to Grace Kelly who plays a woman named Amy. Everyone in the town is afraid of the sight of Millers posse.
