Why is Napoleon still famous in the 21st century' During the 19th century, Napoleon was a strong influence on the French and as a supporter of the French Revolution he broaden the ideals of liberty, equality, fraternity and nationalism with his military power also known as “coup d’etat”. Napoleon was a man with ambition, great self-control and calculation, a great strategist, a genius and whatever he embarked on, he was simply the best. In spite of his strong personality, something about the way he governed France still floats among people’s minds.
