Although workers thanked regime for ending unemployment, their real wages did not improve. The Nazis introduced many anti-Semitic measures and laws, which cut Jewish rights. Thousands of Jews of all professions were fired. Jewish stores and businesses were closed. Relationships between Germans and Jews were forbidden.
