Example Of A Memorandum Memorandum To:, General Manager From: Date: February 13, 2003 Subject: Proposal for a Public Affairs TV Talk Show “blagh” Due to the growing issues surrounding Guam such as the possibility of war with Iraq and the effect it will have on our economy, there is a great demand to have an opinion based talk show where the residents of our island can voice their concerns and listen to what leaders and businessmen around our community are saying. Currently there are no talk shows on so we will benefit from our viewers. Target Audience The word “blagh” means “balance, harmony” in the American language. I chose this name for the show because the audience will get to see and listen to each persons point of view whether it be the governor or an overworked, underpaid teacher. There will be a sense of balance in the discussions and topics of the shows. The Viewers will most likely be over the age of 30. I propose to air the show for an hour every Sunday at 2:00.
