Argumentary Paper The subject I am about to argue, I realize, is not a very original one, but we were supposed to talk about something that fires us up. Well, this does more than that for me. I’ve grown up in a Christian home my whole life, my dad being a minister. So I feel that I have a pretty background for an argument of this subject. The subject of my argument, if you haven’t already guessed, is that of religion in schools. Now I realize that coming from the son of a preacher that this may sound a little biased, well probably, but just hear me out. This is something that I’ve felt very strongly about for quite sometime. There are so many ways to go at this that I figured I’d take the direct approach. We need God back in our schools. Period. Now I’ve heard that this country was founded on the principle of religious freedom, and that’s true. But it wasn’t originally founded for Muslims or Buddhists. It was founded so that Christians could worship freely without being persecuted for their beliefs by the King of England.
