Multicultural Philosophy The aspect I feel most strongly about in my literacy framework is diversity. Literature is a wondrous way to expose students to diversity. I am a firm believer in multicultural and culturally conscious literature. By using these types of books my students get a fascinating depiction of other cultures, languages, and races. In using these books I feel that my students will become more sensitive, knowledgeable, and well-rounded, in turn making them more valuable citizens.
