Educational Philosophy My Educational Philosophy My beliefs about learning and teaching: Teaching is learning is teaching. Education is definitely a cycle. In almost every situation I can think of, you are either teacher or learning or a bit of both. The cyclic part comes into play, when you pass on the knowledge you at one point were taught. It marinated in your head for however long, you put it into your own words, and then obviously thought it was important enough to pass along. Every bit of knowledge that gets passed on has the bit of influence from the person who passed it. Thus we get to the evolutionary stage we are at today. We would never be here if it weren’t for teachers and students learning and passing along their knowledge. My beliefs about students: “There are no bad students only bad teachers.” (unknown) I love this quote. It really only applies through elementary school, and perhaps middle school, but it is part of the reason I want to teach. In the formative years, a good majority of students really do not like the school aspect of school. It makes the teachers job all one, learning, person, knowledge, something, different, class, students, school, really, important, about, teaching, little, learn, know, experience, every, cycle, beliefs, along, year, worth, time, teachers, taught, philosophy, pass, life, knowing, however, each, comes, bit
