Class Of 2007 Dear Class of 2007, I am addressing you on the importance of a high school education. Yes, you just entered high school and all you could think about is the parties, the dances, the significant others, but let me tell you, high school will be way more then a social life. It’s basically preparation for the college life. Without taking the right classes, (and yes, actually going to them), you won’t have the right guidance for the problematical and challenging courses in college. Everyone tends to underestimate a high school education. Take studying for example, high school teaches you that without your basic “three R’s” reading, writing, and arithmetic you can’t succeed in any subject, let alone be geared up for college. Studying, obviously, is not the only key factor that is important to your future. Some other key factors include a chance of higher education if you do plan on going to college, and we all know that higher education means more money. High school not only prepares you academically but socially as well.
