My Idea Of An Educated Person My Idea Of An Educated Person In my opinion a person who continues to seek knowledge demonstrates the qualities of an educated person. This quest is fulfilled by schooling, reading, travel, and work experiences through their whole life. The sharing of that acquired knowledge and experience to enrich the lives of those in their community, or when the opportunity presents, in a larger sphere of influence, enhances and enriches their own lives. Often times the educated are viewed as smart and literate yet lack common sense and are frequently limited by their overwhelming education. With there knowledge rendering them unable to deal with routine tasks of daily life, because they tend to complicate the process of functioning by over thinking. The playing field is leveled for them when a support person has those abilities they need. Let me demonstrate this opinion by telling you about some of these so called uneducated people that have a giant effect on my life on a daily bases. My grandpa, Larry, is a Surveyor. He is educated by on-the-job experience and training. At the age of 18 he was hired as a seasonal worker survey aide.
