Book Report An Article Review: Where should phonics fit in your reading toolbox' This article is about some teachers who went to a phonics workshop on how to use phonics. One teacher believes that we should teach phonics in a ten-week period in kindergarten, while others children read before kindergarten and learn phonic skills as they go on in the school year. Another teacher has children dictate sentences to her, were then she teaches different phonetic techniques.
