Persuasive Essay Do the advantages of four block days outweigh the disadvantages' In junior high I can remember carrying home several books each night. It was a pain and oftentimes I would forget one that I needed because I had so many. Now that I am in high school I hardly ever forget a book that I need nor do I have to carry several home each night. What is the difference you might ask' It is not because the teacher’s suddenly had a change of heart and decided to give less work. It is because in jr. high I had seven classes and now that I am in high school I only have four each semester. Recently, rumors have been floating around this small school and town about the possible return of seven period days. These rumors have students singing the praises of four block days because they have more time in class to ask questions, do homework, and opportunities to double-up or take more electives. Each day, students spend approximately ninety minutes in each block. Educators have plenty of time to teach the lesson and allow students time to ask questions.
