Why A Graduate Degree' Why a Graduate Degree' Choosing to pursue my Graduate Degree (MBA) is one of the biggest decisions that I will ever make in my life. Obtaining a professional degree would allow me to move up the corporate ladder of success quicker then it would if I did not have one. In turn, this will allow more opportunities in Entrepreneurship or Management and create more choices to do what ever I want to do professionally. By investing my money and time into pursuing a graduate degree I am showing to the professional world my commitment to the profession of Business and Management. “This field has become so competitive and demanding that it is no longer possible for most people to “wing it” to succeed. This investment also shows that you are serious about building your career and are willing to “pay your dues” to meet you professional goals” (Yeaple, 1994). When I received my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communications back in 1994, I always knew I would eventually go back to school to get my Graduate degree but I just did not know if I was motivated enough to continue my education.
