In laymen’s terms, the world now recognizes globalization because it has been extremely “globalized”. Friedman).” It is to this end, that many countries (more specifically, private companies) struggle to survive in the broad spectrum of economic prosperity. Of course, it is because of these nation’s endeavors that many have been alarmed and have thus chosen to speak out against globalization (such as the protestors of the IMF and other international organizations that according to them violate certain rights in the name of economic prosperity).
