Stock Anaylsis The stock market is the financial backbone for many businesses around the world. Stocks allow businesses the financial support they need to function and grow in the economy, but in a cyclical market buying stocks for the consumer can be very risky. That is why it is very important to know the intricacies before purchasing a stock. Many people rely on the help of the stock broker to guide them through the stock market. Stock brokers make it their job to assist their clients in making knowledgeable decisions on their stock purchases. With a balance of a well educated stock broker and a willing client, they can team up to make a profitable portfolio. My portfolio for this class consists of Apple Computers, Best Buy, eBay, Google, Home Depot, PF Chang, UPS, and The Sprint Corporation, but I will only be talking about my most interesting ones (eBay, Apple Computers, UPS, and the sprint corporation). In this paper I will discuss why I picked these companies, the background of the companies, how my portfolio performed, and what I learned from this assignment.
