Gettysburg Address In “The Gettysburg Address”, by Abraham Lincoln the idea of ‘freedom for all’ was the bases on which the speech was written. There are several examples in which this theme is developed. Lincoln opened by proclaiming that our nation was found on the proposition that all mean were created equal. This one line initiated how Lincoln felt about the freedom for anyone and everyone.
