Why I want to study in the United States of America' To prepare students to meet the demands and challenges of a complex and competitive world, an ideal education system should provide a supportive and stimulating environment for the intellectual and personal growth. 

I believe my educational System should:

· Make me able to communicate Effectively. 

· Awaken the spirit of creative and critical thought in me to enhance my problem solving capabilities.

· Foster a sense of personal responsibility that encourages ethical behavior. 

· Create an environment, which requires respect for cultural diversity and an understanding of global issues.

· Develop an understanding and appreciation of the role that technology can play in enhancing business operations.

· Encourage the willingness to take risks, the ability to acquire resources, provides courage to learn from failure, and to influence action.

· Able to nurture life-long learning as a core value.

I feel strongly that by studying in the U.S. colleges / universities, above goals can be materialized because with more than 3,700 colleges and universities, the United States has one of the finest system of higher education in the world, with outstanding programs in virtually all fields. At the undergraduate level, excellent programs exist in traditional disciplines as well as in professional fields. At the Graduate level, students often have the opportunity to work directly with some of the finest minds in the world. It also has world class Research and Teaching coupled with superior faculty and state-of-the-art facilities. 

Why I feel so strongly' Because, Liberal Arts philosophy which most colleges and universities in the U.S. employs is a unique feature of the U.S. higher education System. Under-graduate education of the U.S. is based on this concept, which believes in providing a well-rounded academic education that develops the student’s verbal, written and reasoning skills – a foundation for life-long learning. Thus, the U.S. education system is the only education system in the world, which provides programs of study, which innovatively integrate Liberal Arts and Science with professional preparation. Through all of its programs, the U.S. education System encourages students of various backgrounds and abilities to realize their full intellectual and personal potential so they may gain understanding about themselves, others and the forces shaping our rapidly changing and pluralistic world.

 So, I am personally convinced that the U.S. education System will not only impart top-notch Education, which will enhance my future job prospect with my new-found confidence and cross cultural skills but also will make me a better human being by virtue of which I will be able to proactively serve the community better now and in the future. No wonder! Of the 1.4 million Students pursuing post secondary education outside their home countries, more than one-third chooses to study in the United States. I am confident that I will be one of them, soon. -M
