The success of ancient China

给大家推荐一篇优秀的代写paper。

This paper aims to analyze the successful culture of ancient China. Firstly, it discusses the reasons why ancient Chinese culture is so successful, including its special geographical location, the uniqueness of Chinese culture, the special relationship between the government and local governments and the application of centralization. At the same time, as a consultant to ancient China, I will also put forward some suggestions to help ancient China maintain sustainable development and prevent future collapse.

Friedman (1969) believed that the success of a culture and an empire could not be simply attributed to one or two reasons. These great empires succeeded because they focused on many reasons at the same time. As far as ancient China is concerned, its success can be attributed to four main reasons.

First of all, the success of Chinese culture benefits from its geographical location. Ancient China originated from the wetlands along the Yangtze River. According to laponce (1990), wetlands have always been the best place to cultivate culture and develop society, because it is easy to grow crops on wetlands, and people can only gather in places with food. Therefore, people began to gather, live and develop on the wetland plain along the river. In addition, because ancient China originated in the wetland plain along the Yangtze River, it is urgent to develop the ancient very developed mode of production - wet tillage. Because the fertile soil and fertile soil provide the possibility for the development of agricultural culture, ancient Chinese culture can survive and develop rapidly. Compared with the wetland plain with developed ancient Chinese culture, other geographical locations on the earth are not so friendly. For example, the weather in Siberia is too cold to grow crops and maintain population, the desert is too hot because of water shortage, and the land of islands such as the Japanese islands and the Philippine Islands is too barren. Therefore, the unique geographical location of ancient China is the main reason why China became a great empire.

Second, the success of the Chinese empire is due to its unique Chinese culture. According to the research of segerdahl (2007), farming culture may cultivate a gentle and decent group, while the community developed from animal husbandry culture may have a more violent and aggressive character. As far as China is concerned, the character of humility and politeness made the birth of the great ancient Chinese Empire possible. In addition to the culture developed along the river, there are many communities developed along the Yellow River. With the expansion and development of various communities, the integration of different communities began. Because the people in these communities had the same culture, the integration between them did not take much effort, which began the development of ancient China.

In addition to the above two reasons, the success of ancient China can also be attributed to its special relationship between politics and religion. The core value of ancient China is Confucianism, which teaches people humility and mutual respect. The main idea of Confucianism is that people should always think of each other and try their best to maintain a state of peace and harmony.

In addition, the government's use of centralized power was another important reason to promote ancient China to become one of the most successful Empires at that time.
