As we all know, subculture refers to the cultural group in a larger culture, usually different from the interests or beliefs of the larger culture. In this article, I will introduce a subculture -Rave. It usually refers to a dance attended by many dancers at a festival with performances, dance clubs or nightclubs. In the late 1950s, "carnival" was used to explain the "wild Bohemian parties" in London. Until 1958, Buddy Holly was describing the hit song "Rave On," which meant that a feeling of fever and madness and longing for it never stopped. Often, the word "wild" is also used in the emerging mod youth culture to describe the wild parties of the 1960s. What's more, people are regarded as "wanderers" because they are social gathering animals.
