In one report, it reveals that the storm above the Pacific Ocean has been strengthened by the heavy air pollution in China, which severely has an impact on the weather pattern in other parts of the world. It also indicates the fact that the world today faces common destiny for that the environmental situation in one country can effect that in another remote country. Another article reports the severe climate issue in Texas, US. The adverse effect caused by the rising temperature is more obvious in Texas than in other place of US. Texas suffers from “more heat, more dry spells and more extreme weather events”, drought and the lack of water. The final article introduces the study result of the National Climate Assessment of US. It found out that the number of extreme weather events is climbing in recent decades and people are facing the grave risk brought by the rising sea level. According to the article, “climate change is having significant financial, ecological and human health impacts across the US”.

Earth is the only place we can live now, thus it is no doubt that environmental issues deserve our attention. It not only imperils the quality of our life, but also the life of our next generation. Though it is impossible for us to immediately and greatly improve our environment, we should not give up. Instead, we should redouble efforts to protect our environment and prevent it from getting worse. All these articles are warming us. If we do not pay attention to it and act as soon as possible, it will be us who bear the punishment. Therefore, this topic should be discussed widely and attached high attention to.
